MY IMPERSONA: A Personal Development Environment
Overview of the My ImPersona Program
My ImPersona is an environment where you can:
- Perform vital activities online that are a part of different spheres or "facets" of your life, such as your professional life, spiritual life, physical state, family matters etc.
- Define your current state of being ( What I Am) and aspirations (What I want to be) in each Facet, record your daily Actions and Experiences, and view Indicators that show the extent and pace of change in You in each facet.
My ImPersona in action
- Define your current State (What I Am) and goals (What I Want to Be) in each Facet initially. Update your State only when you perceive a significant change in yourself.
- Record your Actions and Experiences regularly- once a day if possible.
- View your Indicators to see the extent, rate and direction of your progress in each Facet.
FACETS
ImPersona defines 7 distinct spheres or Facets for you. These facets and what the represent are:
- Persona: The aspects of your personal life and personality you assume and present to the world.
- Professional: The professional dimension of your life, including work and education.
- Spiritual: The spiritual dimension of your life and activities.
- Intellectual: The intellectual dimension of your life and activities.
- Family and Friends: The personal human relationships dimension of your life and activities
- World Views: Ideas and opinions you develop and share on worldly matters including, social, political, environmental, economic matters, etc.
- Physical: Your physical state and activities.
Each Facets Program consist of two parts:
- Facet Activities: Perform many valuable actions within each facet like network, blog, create and share and more.
- State of Being: Use the State and Pivot sub facets to define who you are and want to be in each Facet.
- State fields measure the extent or degree of a quality or trait in the particular Facet. Examples of State fields include: degree of creativity in the Persona Facet, or degree of discipline in the Professional Facet. A score of 1 in a State field indicates a STRONG NEGATIVE. A score of 5 indicates a STRONG POSITIVE and values in between indicate interim degrees.
- Pivot fields are items, events, emotions or people of extraordinary significance to YOU in the context of the Facet. Think of the most dominant or important factor, good or bad, in your own life as a Pivot. Example of a Pivot field: The Most Important Relationship in the Friends and Family Facet = " My children " or " My best friend" or "My dad".
State and Pivot sub-facets have three views: What I Am, What I Was, and What I Want to Be. Define your current State and Pivots in What I Am. Define your aspirational States and Pivot values in What I Want to Be. Watch the progression and changes of your state of being in each Facet over time by viewing your Indicators - see below. You can do this in complete privacy, or share your state and progress with a select list or the whole world.
ACTIONS and EXPERIENCES
The Actions and Experiences programs- Deeds, Thoughts, Emotions and Random Experiences- qualitatively record what you do in your everyday life. Your Actions and Experiences affect your progress from What I Am to What I Want to be in each Facets of your ImPersona.
- DEEDS: Records a notion of physical acts you perform.
- THOUGHTS: Records a notion of your intentional and experiential thoughts.
- EMOTIONS: Records a notion of emotions you experience.
- RANDOM EXPERIENCES: Records random acts that befall you.
In each Actions and Experiences program, you must respond to queries that qualitatively measure the degree and nature of your action or experience. A score of 1 indicates a STRONG NEGATIVE. A score of 5 indicates a STRONG POSITIVE and values in between indicate interim degrees. Your Actions and Experiences affect your State in each Facet uniquely.
You must update your Actions and Experiences regularly (perhaps once a day) to get accurate Indicators of their impact on your State in each Facet and see the progress you are making towards What You Want to Be. The record of your Actions and Experiences program applies to all Facets- so you do NOT need to update your Actions and Experiences in each Facet- a single update each time suffices.
INDICATORS
Indicators show you the extent and rate of your progress in each Facet, resulting from your Actions and Experiences. INDICATORS ARE COMPUTED AUTOMATICALLY BY IMPERSONA.COM. Simply set your State and Pivot values in each Facet ( both What I Am and What I want to be values) and update your Actions and Experiences often.
- Progress Indicators show the extent of progress you have made from What I Am to What I Want to Be in each Facet. The PI indicates progress as a percentage.
- Momentum Indicators show the rate of progress you are currently making from What I Am state to What I Want to Be state in each Facet. The MI indicates the rate of progress as a signed percentage. A –ve number indicates you are progressing AWAY from your What I Want to Be goals at the indicated rate. A +ve number indicates you are progressing TOWARDS your What I Want to Be goals at the indicated rate.

ACTIONS AND EXPERIENCES FEATURES

- Update your A&E as often as possible to get the most accurate Indicators. Click UPDATE NOW on the Actions and Experiences page or on the My ImPersona page and select the scores from 1-5 for each of the fields and click SUBMIT when done.A typical update would be to update all four A&E programs once a day- which should take less than 2 minutes.
- View/update your A&E from each Facet page, from the My ImPersona page, from the home page, etc. However, you DO NOT need to update the A&E program from within every Facet. Actions and Experiences impact ALL Facets and a single instance of the update is adequate.

CONSULT
Overview of the Consult Program
The Consult program provides a live medium of interaction between ImPs. Use the Consult program to receive and provide advice, information, solutions and support in real time from other ImPs. Consultation providers are called Providers and consultation recipients are called Seekers.
Seek Listings is a market place where Seekers post requests for consultation with their specific requirements. Provide Listings is a market place where Providers post offers to consult with their specific capabilities. Search either market to find appropriate Providers or potential Seekers. Contact them off line to set up a live Consult.
Live Consult is a simple 4 step process for Seekers to engage in a Live Consult with a Provider.
- Make Contact: Enter Seeker or Provider ImP ID on the Consult Program page. Click Contact Now.
- Pre- Consult Chat: Discuss the nature of the consultation and suitability of the Seeker or Provider. End the Consult if neither are agreeable to both parties.
- Agreements: The Provider's standard Terms ( set by Provider in her My Account>Program Defaults> Consult) appear before the Seeker which the Seeker must Agree with, or else the consult ends. The Provider and the Seeker then can each specify additional Terms. Such Terms shall not contravene ImPersona's Terms of Service in any way. ImPersona's Terms of Service are the final governing terms of service and over-ride all other Terms. Only when both parties agree to each other's Terms does the Agreement phase conclude and the Live Consult begin.
- Live Consult: Download the ImPersona Live Consult Console and engage in a Live voice and text consult. A log of the textual consult is available in My Account> Content I Create> Consult for Providers and My Account> Content I Acquire> Consult for Seekers.

Provider and Seeker can engage in text and voice consultation. A record of your text consult ( not voice) is created. Providers may access this record in their My Account> Content I Create> Consult.
